Meet Ockley Station about 10.30am, take in Leith Hill, White Downs Lane, Ranmore Common and Boxhill ??

I'll be down that way again for a few days, but I think Boxing Day will be my only 'window of opportunity'.

No idea if any caffs open or transport running tho... I'll be staying near Ockley myself, hence the suggested starting point.

RE transport: there are very limited trains on Boxing Day- SWT aren't running any at all, Southern doing London-Brighton and to Sutton and East Croydon. Nothing else.

Well, she's always said "That wouldn't satisfy my puppies", but she's fond of a decent stuffing, and she certainly knows how to prepare my sprouts.

Really enjoyed the ride in the summer, so a winter variant seems like a good idea. If it stays reasonably clement. And depending on which day you finally choose!
