I just bought the Caad8 105 2015! Had a good ride round the block and loved it. Also tried a Hoy, the ride was almost identical. I had planned to go away tonight and give it some thought but the green just swayed it! Back tomorrow to collect. It'll be a Christmas like sleepless night for me!

Same here I bought the synapse 105 5 2015 absolutely love it so comfortable best bike I have owned.. Mind you that wasn't hard

I'm looking at it myself.
I need a more comfortable bike (sportive style) and this is high on my list

I have just seen the new Giant defy 0, is out. similar spec although has ultegra shifters , but no disk breaks, hmmmm

Hi mate. Yes I did get it and love it. I went for a 56cm I think (can't remember for sure) and it is great

Highly recommended (although I don't have much experience to base that on)

has anyone ever seen this bike in anything but black btw?

There is a red one on the canondale website but I think it was only released in the states. I asked when I got mine (black) and was told that black was the only colour scheme available.

I absolutely love mine - I pay off my mortgage this year and have been given a green light on a dream bike. The alu synapse has me seriously considering one of the higher end carbon models instead of the racier beasts I had been looking at. Ride quality is superb but not at the expense of handling or (in my view) speed.

ah ok, shame about the colour choices, red would be fantastic!
yeah a carbon frame on this would be lovely and there are different colours , but not sure I can stretch the extra £600

You could always get the Tiagra one in white, upgrade to 105, sell the Tiagra on.

its a good few years ago but wonder if it's an option
