Cannondale Synapse 105 disc brakes

Hi, has anyone got Promax Render R disc brakes? Got them on my Cannondale Synapse 105 and I want to replace the pads but looking at the pdf instructions it looks like it's saying I need to take the caliper off to replace them but looking on YouTube changing them is easier, asking before I take the caliper off first, TIA.

I have them on my CAADX and while I feel that in theory it would be possible to replace the pads removing just the wheels, in practice it's much easier to remove the caliper. It's only a couple of bolts after all.

Also gives you a chance to give the calipers a good clean.

I've done it now without removing the caliper, the instructions do say to remove the caliper though.

It's a good training bike, I find it quite heavy, when I get my carbon (Cube Agree) out its like cycling on air lol.
