cant upload from garmin 800

just done a ride went to upload from 800 and not their seems i have saved to sd card but it wont upload it i can see it on device but not to upload any ideas for a very unsure computer user please

managed to save direct to strava but not garmin connect ?

Copy it from the device to the desktop and manually upload, then set it to store activities on the internal memory.
