i have a lot to be grateful to Cap'n BirdsEye for...when i was a kid i would stay up and watch programmes on ITV that were way too scary for me [think 'hammer horror films' etc] and at the 'end of part' commercial breaks, his cheery face was so reassuring that it put my mind at ease that dracula wouldnt come and get me.
