Car Insurance going down?

We have 3 vehicles, all needing insurance renewal about now, just been looking at quotes for 2 of them and both are quite a bit cheaper than last year.
Is this a general trend or is it because I've turned 65?

Mine looks cheaper too this year when getting quotes. I'm old too (nearly 56). Can't think of any other things that are getting cheaper these days..

If they're insured for market value, then the insured values may have declined enough to reduce the premium.

it was her fault , overtaking a parked vehicle and she misjudged the gap ... panicked and hit the accelerator damaging every panel down the nearside of the car enough to mean they need replacing.

I think I read on moneysavingetc that insurance generally was around 15% down this year and to watch out that renewals reflected it. Ours have so far.

Insurance on my camper went down a little over 10% this year. Im a mere stripling of 57.

That doesn't mean you won't get the blame. They always find a way.

My renewal quote went up by about 12% so I did the usual thing of running my details through the usual comparison sites. Nothing had changed apart from ticking over to 60 this year and I was getting quotes over 20% lower than last year and even big name companies were 15% lower.
