It's damn light and really quiet, I think metal rings must resonate slightly while carbon has sound dampening properties

I was thinking that, I never really thought traditional gearing produced much noise but its really odd when it becomes even quieter.

Graphite chain. That's what's needed - no need to oil.

.I can't wait to see what the bike ends up weight wise in the end... still got a bit to go before its exactly how I want it but that orange and carbon contrast looks really good imho

The shifting is really positive far better than I thought it would be and to be honest I can't tell the difference. I'm not sure if this is due to the positive shifting of Di2 or the quality of the rings. Either way I'm happy at this time.

They can do a selection of finishes, etching, custom designs and other bits.
The workmanship is really good, i'm very impressed

They do loads of other carbon bits for bikes and willing to take on projects or custom work. Really nice guys and a pleasure to do business with.

I really think they look bad, I also hate the S-Works crankset aesthetics, but if you like them (or they offer a performance benefit), why not! We all spend money on stuff.............

As much as Specialized like to claim the cranks as theirs they are actually made by lightening cranks for specialized, I use them because they are exceptionally stiff and can be ordered in any length you want. The fact they are also light was not really a motivator for me but I don't mind that they are

Just fitted a carbon rear hanger, lighter jockey wheels with ceramic bearings.... helped drop the weight a touch more
