carbon scratch repair

Hi all
just joined the forum and a question already a question
please see attached pics

my chain come of an done this on a 2 week old Cannondale

more scatched than anything else what would be the best fix ?
Nay help or advice is more than welcome

Cover it with a (big) chainstay protector ?
 
Why would the chain derail on a new bike? If it was a consequence of poorly adjusted dérailleurs you have a strong argument for replacement under warranty.

mickle Thats exactly my thoughts it goes in for its free 6 week service Saturday week I wonder how far I will get with Evans cycles regarding this ..... ill post the outcome

Don't piss about asking, simply demand a replacement or a total refund. A bike which eats its own carbon fibre is not fit for purpose. You have the law on your side.

well went in for the service , when asked if all was ok I explained what had happened and pointed out the damage straight away the member of sales called the manager he shook his head and without any prompting said a replace
ment would be ready for me to collect from the store within 10 days.
