I’ve been in denial for years but it’s getting worse. Night time it’s very bad. Mobile phone sets it off & the cold.
What are your tips to manage this awful condition?
I’m thinking of getting some gloves or splints to help my hands as I sleep.
I don’t want surgery so any help is most welcome I’m sure some C.C members will be going through the same frustrations.

I’d recommend find a physio that works on gliding the ligaments over the grooves, so flexion, extension, opening and closing each finger individually, mixed with some deep tissue masssge, I personally found it really helpful when I broke my wrist and discovered that my ligaments and grooves are convex and concave so don’t glide in tandem and can flare up in colder weather.

Why don't you want a straightforward surgery if it fixes the issue? Assuming a specialist has offered it to you? What have the medics actually recommended (presumably you have a confirmed diagnosis from Nerve Conduction Tests)

Surgery is the best bet if nothing else works. That's is if your integrated care board fund it that is, it's often inc on lists that are longer funded.
Until you see a GP you wont really know what your options are.

I watched my wife have both her wrists done at the local medical centre. She previously tried physio and injection, complete waste of time for her.
