carrera`s are good entry level bikes but be aware that unless you are planning to go offroad the suspension forks are not needed and the extra weight makes the bike heavier .For general road riding and gravel/cyclepaths a rigid fork bike is more than capable.
the stock tyres are ok but i would replace them with something better when they wear as they do come up narrow.
for a similar price i would go for the subway 1 as its over 1 kg lighter

Good value hybrid, often recommended on here. Rather heavy but otherwise not much to criticise except for the suspension fork which you really don’t need.
Id say you’re better off with the cheaper Parva or the Marasa if you want hydraulic discs, both of which have a steel fork.
