Carrera Parva - what does it really cost?

For a short while, it said £180, down from £300, thus saving £120. Today I checked the site and it says it's £180, down from £210, thus saving £30.

I never went into this bike thinking it was ever a £300 bike. Is this a bit like the never-ending sofa sales which have 50-60% off all throughout the year (jeez how do these guys even make a profit)? Or was it really at one point, a £300 bike?

It has to have been at the higher price for a certain period before the sale price. So, at some point it will have been sold for £300. Whether it's worth £300, only the buyer can decide.

I reckon around £200 is about right, just like any store you see these "bargains " that are in fact just a sales ploy

It was only £100 on Halfords Ebay a few weeks back.

Whether anyone has ever actually paid £300 for it is also a moot point. Simply give the novice the impression they're getting a bargain and they'll buy it.

But if I like a Golf GTI more than a Ferrari then that doesn't mean I should pay more for the golf just because I like it more?

There is a pop up which is saying last chance so presumably it's being discontinued hence the price.
