Some of the main points of the plan:

The Dublin City Development Plan has set a target for 55% of travellers to and from the city centre to use public transport, 15% to cycle, 10% to walk and 20% to use private cars by 2017.

The figures at the bottom, realistic or a pipe dream?

I dunno but I wish them luck.

If it would work for London City, I'd support it.

Spent some time in Munich and Vienna last week. Both places have car-free city centres. It is magic. Best sight was a family including a little girl about 7 riding through the middle of Vienna in perfect safety. It is time humans reclaimed our habitats from the dreadful car.
