I did it once, many years ago when a stiff flex caused my soldering iron to rotate, & I reached out for it
The imprint from the ‘vent holes’ took about a month to heal

W've all done that ! And I dare say we've all soldered through the cable too !

My worst burn was blowlamp soldering a pipe from underneath thinking I'd better be careful that big glob of solder didn't drip off. Melted through my watch and 20+ years later still have the mark
