Nor the Isle of Portland which is joined to Weymouth by a causeway.

Any number raised to the power of 0 is equal to 1.

Well nearly - 0 to power 0 doesn't work quite so well. x ^x tends to 1 as x tends to 0, but 0^0 does not equal 1.
