Cassette Removal Hell ! Help

Hi All - have lost the will to live here my Freehub has gone on my Fulcrum back wheel - tried all day to remove my shimano cassette with no joy ! Even broken my whip chain - appears

stuck fast - any ideas easing it what I’m doing wrong - tried it in the Vice , tried it with wrench tool adjustable spanner - I’m obviously doing something wrong - any help much appreciated before I go crazy

If you can fit the QR skewer to hold the removal tool in place, that can help a bit as you don't have to worry about it slipping out under force.

I use a socket wrench with a big spanner slipped over the end for extra leverage on stubborn nuts and bolts, could that do the trick here?

You are turning the chain whip anticlockwise right? :laugh:
Like already suggested get a bigger spanner so you have more leverage.
Try dousing the lock ring in WD40, may help loosen it up
