If the axel was bent, would I not be able to see the wheel rotating differently?

Just stripped it all... Bearings all looked OK.
No loose play in any of the components... I guess it's probably because it's the standard set that came with the bike and thus a cheapo freewheel etc?

Took the opportunity to clean up and ready grease too. :smile:

Personally I would just keep riding it. My bike showed similar cassette wobble to this and I rode it for a few thousand miles before it developed really noticeable free hub problems (not engaging when peddling etc.), so I have just recently replaced the free hub, I ended up swapping it at about 5,000 miles and that was after riding through a winter and lots of flood water that regularly went above the wheel hub height which would have swamped the free hub with cr4p. If I were you I would forget about it and just keep on riding it.
