Castelli Gabba are they worth it

Size wise, are they small fitting? I'd normally take a large, thinking an XL in the Gabba 2 convertible?

Yep XL , i went for the convertable, i had ordered both, the zip off sleeve made sense, but then you do loose the zip vents of the standard jacket

Thanks guys, ordered a black XL convertible, it's my birthday this month and no one else will treat me so I'm treating myself

Well, it arrived. Very nice jacket, XL was the right size and will allow a base layer comfortably but sadly the sleeves are maybe a tad long. I can live with that though, may arrange to have them altered locally.

Seems a good midweight jacket but I've yet to test it in anger, it's been dry and warm here for a change!!
