Good evening,
Have read with interest and would very much love to be considered for the tour.
A couple of minor points.......
Haven't ridden any CC Ecosse rides before.
I live in Yorkshire.
I only have one bike, it's fixed gear.
Some positives.......
Have ridden my fixed gear on some fairly long hilly rides.
Rode from Inverness to Aberdeen some years ago (On a geared bike)
Love the Scottish scenery.
Would be nice to meet other cc's

Hi @mikeee

I would say if YOU feel confident you could do this ride (based on the ride profile) on a fixie that's down to you - @Edwardoka has done the ride so may be able to give you a bit more detail as to how wise or otherwise this may be! I wouldn't want to do it on a fixed but I've no idea what your abilities are - however there WILL be a range of abilities on this ride.

Living in Yorkshire isn't a problem if you're confident you can get to Scotland! The first day is a bit loose anyway and there will be a West coast and an East Coast contingent - @mscshroom and @MikeW-71 are both from south of the border too, so will be figuring their way north.

Finally with the numbers it looks like it will need to be youth hostels (if I can get them booked) which can be a bit... rustic.

If that doesn't put you off then your in! Any questions just ask. All the best, Mark

Mostly flat, some bumps...

Hi Mark and the rest of the gang,
Many thanks for your kind replies and welcome messages.
Would love to join you all on this ride.
Fixed, feel happy enough to commit.
Travel to Scotland, not an issue, although I won't be riding up!
Youth Hostels, more than happy, have stayed in a fair few over the years.
