@DougieAB Meeting at the nitten pool sounds good, do you think 9.15ish would give us enough time to meet everyone else at the start?

I can make it to Crewe Toll each morning in around 45 minutes so should take us just over half an hour to get to the. Commonwealth Pool. I,ll leave the house at 9:05 sharp and should be with you by 9:10. See you on Saturday.

Just noticed the time of your post. Not at yoga tonight? :heat:
I want to try a few stretches first before I return, hopefully in the next few weeks.

Not tonight I'm afraid , things to do ...
Good to hear you are recovering and thinking about going back soon

@Telemark @Scoosh is there an easy way to get from Broughton Street up to Commy Pool without going via the Bridges? So the route I know into town is Silverknowes, Ferry Road Cycle path then turn right up to Tescos at Broughton Street - then up the hill onto Leith Street. Any rat runs/quieter routes??
There is this, which has some 'navigation' to be done and best to have a back-up city map.

Because maison Scoosh is further east, I go this way, keeping to the Quietest Route, which might be a bit further but with the others taking you either round the RAB at the top of Leith Walk  or past Waverley Station :headshake: ..... I like to keep it safe and simple. :heat:

The route I take is easy for you to find and, as it comes near maison Scoosh, I might even be able to meet you  and give you an escort point you in the right direction !

Do we need to offer a collection & delivery service from Waverley to the Commie Pool?
Are all you Westies arriving on the same train? Looks like the 8:54 from GQS arriving 9:58 into Waverley (unfortunately one of the slower ones) is the best choice if you don't want to hang around outside the Commie for too long. It only takes 5-10 minutes to cycle there, including the traffic light stops...
There is also a cafe with facilities at the Commie if required...

And you'd be welcome if you want to drop off some stuff (such as warm clothes for the train journey home?) at our place before the ride.
I'll PM my mobile number & address in a bit.

Looks like may be a complicated ride through Embra to get there!
Is there a quick easy route from the west?
Where are you planning to cycle from? All the way from home?
If you give us a clue, we can make a route map or fetch you from somewhere easy to find ...
