That is a good idea. There would be no compulsion to attend the one nearest you, I take it. Or people could attend both, if they (the dates) were not too close together.

I've voted for all the options, however I still think (well in fact know) that the best place to hold it would clearly be Mansfield. It's the most central place of the uk!
