CCTV question?

Hello,

My mother has seen a man looking through her windows and walking around the back and side gardens. CCTV is installed at her house. The system seems very difficult to operate so I just took out the dvd & took it home with me. I put the disk in and it's coming up blank on my dvd rom drive. Now I'm wondering if the system was turned on properly or somebody has switched the disk for a blank, but maybe my PC won't recognise the format so it comes up as blank? I just need the third option clearing up, as most likely she's turned the monitor off & for some reason has turned the recorder box off.

My mum is a frail OAP and is very scared, she has informed the poilce but they won't come until tomorrow.

Give the system a short trial. Set it up make a short recording and test that. Only you have access to the hardware and the DVDs to do the testing.
