Fairly standard combi in tbe airing cupboard, losing the old one from the kitchen is a bonus. Only downer is that we need a new 22mm gas pipe putting in as the old 15mm won't take it.
The heater has only been on for about 4 hours in the evenings, on its minimum setting. I wish I could turn it down more for those evenings where I just want to take the chill off the room, but don't want to mess about turning the thing on and off every 30 minutes. Its ignition is unreliable so sometimes it takes a minute or so of fiddling to get it to stay alight.
My grandson is staying so we switched the heating on for his benefit and the fecking boiler is fecked. Bloke coming to have a gander on Thursday afternoon. Could be curtains for the old girl, Potterton Netaheat Mk2
Moving into our new house on Friday, there is no central heating. Work starts Saturday putting the new system in, along side a sparky doing the rewire, oh and then there's the bathroom fitter the following week followed by the kitchen fitter the week after that. Heating aint going on this winter things need paying for. I'll buy her a thicker coat! or she can keep warm on the turbo trainer!
