I have used my Park tool mini for 10 years without problems. It is nice you can buy new pins when they get mushroomed.

Nicky, that is the one. You may get a set of extra pins while you are at it and then you are good for a decade...

Quite dreadful
Park Tool CT-5. It's small and it works.

I got the Park Tool one from Bike Tart, a couple of quid cheaper than else where!

I bought one of THESE Fat Spanner ones donkeys years ago when I was doing a fair bit of bike restoration and it's been brilliant, and even though I don't do that anymore it would still be my go to chain tool now, obviously as I own it , but I mean because it still operates faultlessly :okay:

I bought an IceToolz workbench one and despite being recommended by, and bought from, the seller of the wide chain, there was no room for the link, I ended up using an angle grinder to make room for it. In meantime, with no other option, I tried this much smaller (like a quarter of the IceToolz) parktools CT-5, carefully, and it didn't break, it worked. Says something.

For the fixed gear 1/8" Gusset "Tank" chain I bought a "YC-324" tool.
Nowadays I ride with a 1/4" type 420 motorcycle chain, it fit in the YC-324 tool and it pushed the pin out, but as turnt out the pin diameter was bigger (3.97mm) and it jammed, I needed a punch to drive it back out.
I purchased dedicated tool, it's different compared to bicycle chain breaker tools in that you push the pin out against the link plate on that side only - it "hooks" behind it instead of supporting the plate on the other side of the chain. Not tried yet, so hope no problems.
