Playing an old tape (yes, tape) y'day and encountered this Bowie ramble, followed not long after by:
"Quando paramucho mi amore de felice corazon
Mundo paparazzi mi amore chica ferdy parasol
Cuesto obrigado tanta mucho que can eat it carousel"
... lines later described by John Lennon as "garbage", according to the site I just copied it from. Seems unduly harsh to me. Sure, it's meaningless, but it do sound great.
Sent me back to my musings on that line from the Bewlay Brothers: is it just my imagination, or was there a time when lyricists used to generate strings of words sometimes for no better (or more to the point, other) reason than just the joy of the sound of them?
