I''m looking to bling up my Ti Brommie with a SRAM One chainset.
Two things; can anyone confirm the BB fitting is a standard BS thread, please?
Secondly, the existing chainset is a standard 'spider', purchased in 2014 which is stated to come in 50/52/54t sizes. However, I've counted the teeth on the existing one and make it 53. I've checked it three times.
Is that the case? Only asking, because the Sram option is a 52, and I need to replace like with like because of the picky Brompton chain length requirements.

Thank you!

Paging @Mr Orange and @AKA Bob for help?

Seems like a lot of money for not a lot of bling.

I don't really understand the problem with the teeth and the chain length.

Presumably if you're changing the chainrings, you'll change the chain too. Follow the Brompton guide for the correct amount of links for the 52 tooth ring that you're buying.

I followed the Brompton guide for the 48T chainring I planned to fit, then got a 44/34 chainset on instead. It's fine, and folds OK on either ring. I don't think chain length is quite as critical as all that.

Agree with above, because of the chain tensioner the brommie isn't fussy about about a tooth or two / link or two
