Hi,
Bit of a beginner question (I guess this is the right place then!), but what reading http://www.cyclechat...on-your-hybrid/ got me thinking as to what are your options for changing tyre sizes and what must you do?
For example, my bike - http://www.marin.co.....php?ModNo=10AN says "Rims - WTB Dual Duty, Double Wall, 36 Hole with CNC Side Walls" and "Tyres - Maxxis Overdrive, 700 x 35c with Kevlar Inside Puncture Protection", and I'm very pleased with those tyres so far. However, I'd always assumed that I would have to replace like for like.
So, as long as it's 700, I can put pretty much anything on there? Or are there limits? What determines those limits - the rims? Would I need to change the inner tubes?
Thanks,
MG
