I heard somewhere that when the Stones banned wives from touring with them during the 60s, he went on a bath strike. Eventually the others conceded.

Thanks for posting that, nice article. Not one of my fave bands bit CW is one of my fave drummers. Plays the song amd does it well. Plays great kits too.

I saw them about five years ago at Twickenham, I had 600 free tickets given to me on the day, I couldn't give them away! The band never troubled my whelm.

Liked the early stuff but they were dinosaurs by my late teens and then they went all stadium and national institution which really isn't very rock'n'roll.

BTW, Get Yer Ya Yas Out is the best live album of all time.
