Yes, I agree, it was an excellent suggestion. He went quiet when I made an initial offer to get things moving; never replied after that.

It makes me wonder how people sell stuff when they take any lower offer as a personal affront! He'd already told me that a couple had viewed but not bought it...

Anyway, I should receive my parcel tomorrow. You never know exactly what you'll get, mail order, but it gets good reviews for the money.

There was a particular motorbike I was looking for and found one on Craigslist. I contacted the seller and there was something not quite right. I then used friends on Couchsurfers to track down his address. It did not exist. A bit more digging and I found this guy was trying to sell different motorbikes, using the exact same address but in different towns all over the USA. All through Craigs List. I contacted them to tell them about the scam but got no reply. The guy was still advertising a couple of months later.

Be careful when dealing online.

I just did a fairly easy ride around & through the city with a shop-based club. 27 miles including there & back. Bike was fine except for a few creaks from the bars and the bottle cage falling off when I crossed the railway lines on the way there! I should have known tiewrapping it on was a bit optimistic.

Tear gas ain't no thing! Got my first sniff of it at 17. :becool:

Thx GA
Man, I got nailed good one time, glad my Dad told me about the baking soda and water mixture. Some of the stuff they use over here can irritate your skin really bad, cause blistering, and a lot of eye problems, as well as vomiting. In the southern U.S., the cops play rough.

US National Whitewater Center today! What a great place. First bike rack I've seen the whole time I've been here, as well...

That's a 103ft high, 1600ft long zipwire through the trees, and yes I did do it! Blister is from 4 1/2 mile kayak run (flatwater). IMAG3134.jpg IMAG3085.jpg IMAG3100.jpg IMAG3122.jpg IMAG3129.jpg
