Cheap bike stand

Hi there,
Need some advice on a cheap bike stand to hold the road bike while hand washing and storage. I have looked at the following

If you know of any other or have used this then please feel free to comment. Budget wise No more than £50 thanks

Try Wiggle - I got a cheap one for £50 about a month ago - cant remember its make but it does what it says.

Try this from Decathlon: http://www.decathlon.co.uk/EN/bike-workstand-53433343/. I have one of these and it does the job ok. It doesn't collapse down so takes up space when you're not using it.

In the store in Stockport they also had one of those simple stands that you hook round the down tube and it lifts the back wheel off the ground. About a fiver I think, but I can't see them on the website.

I've got the same stand (also bought from Stockport, by coincidence) it it's pretty darned good at the price. Whilst it doesn't collapse, it takes about 30 seconds to whip two of the "feet" out and it then hangs easily from the rafters.

If that 30 seconds is too much faff (as it is for me ) then we just leave it set up in the garage squared up to where the car is parked, so the front wheels straddle the stand and no space is lost to it. In that position, it's even possible to have a bike set on the stand, if you are in the middle of something big, for instance, and still get the car in with the bonnet underneath it.

Ah there we we go: http://www.decathlon.co.uk/EN/sv-101-bike-rack-3957901/ - it was in bike racks and hooks not workshop tools.

Anyone got one of these propping up a MTB? Is the hook big enough to round a chunky downtube?
