I need a few parts (new or used) but urgently
Where is the cheapest place to find
10 Speed Tiagra rear derailleur
10 Sp Chain
10 Sp Cassette

Also need two small stems? What is the smallest size on the market?

Just bought a crankset, cassette and chain and it was 3 seperate orders from wiggle, merlin and ribble

If it is urgent then id go with merlin, usually very quick delivery

thank you all but Im very confused

I bought this used bike and needs a bit of TLC.
It has 9 speed front ring
and 8 speed cassette.
is it possible? how do I know for sure how many speed is the bike?

A 10 speed cassette and 10 speed rear derailleur will need 10 speed shifters for it to work properly.

If the cassette is 8 speed then the bike is 8 speed (unless someone put on the wrong cassette). To make sure on the shifters there should be a model number where you will be able to find out what speed the shifters are for...this will probably be under the hood on the shifter body.

8 and 9 speed chainrings and chains are pretty much interchangeable.

I must say that I have never found Merlin to be a cheap place to buy parts. I just had a quick look for a couple of things I'm after and their prices are not very competitive.

One has to shop around for the best prices as prices change between company to company from time to time.

I buy from Wiggle, Chain Reaction, Parker International, Ribble, et.
