Beauvale, made in Cropwell Bishop is wonderful.
When we cycle with my brother we go through there quite often.

If I’m not in the area I’ll order some on line

I love a lot of cheeses but anyone who messes about with classics and tries to add almonds, cranberries, walnuts and so on is first against the wall come the revolution

Lancashire is Lancashire, Cheddar is Cheddar. It's not difficult is it?
Yebbut cheese and fruit of some form is a classic combination

I rode from here to Nottingham last summer, and routed it to go past the dairies at Cropwell Bishop, Long Clawson and Colston Bassett. All closed by the time I got there. B*stards. It's as if they knew I was coming.

Always stock up on Comte and Morbier on our annual visit to family in the Jura,France. You can get it here but it never seems to taste the same, especially the Morbier. You can still get it with the Ash-line over there(though technically you can't:whistle:) if you know a good local maker:okay:
English cheese has to be a very a mature Cheddar or Wensleydale:notworthy:

Varies for me depending what type of meal/snack I am having.
Melted on toast... mature cheddar sprinkled with black pepper or cayenne.
With celery..... its cheshire
Ploughmans.....a mix. Sorry @nickyboy but I will have it with cranberry or similar.
I am about to have a couple of Ryvitas with Cheshire on....yummy.
