I'm always out round that way David, Burtonwood, Culcheth, Lymm, High Legh, Great Budworth, Arley Hall etc. Some fantastic lanes in cracking countryside. Great Bud is rapidly becoming my favourite place on earth! I regularly ride out to Tatton Park, Knutsford & Manchester Airport. I also get out through Acton Bridge, Weaverham, Frodsham, Hells Bells, Oulton Park, Delamere, Beeston & Chester. The Eureka Cafe http://www.eurekacyclistscafe.co.uk/ in Chester is a Mecca for cyclists!

Looks a great route - do you have to pay to get into the 'viewing park'?

It's free for cyclists and pedestrians and they do a cracking bacon, sausage & egg barm at the Take-away by the picnic tables!

Very similar route to mine I've posted strava route in my ride today thread!! I'm on phone so not able to copy add paste blah blah blah you know what I mean! :-)

I will use your route out to Manchester ,this is the details of the ride I sometimes do with a stop at Old Trafford which as a Liverpool fan I don't enjoy but the rest of the ride is ok http://connect.garmin.com/activity/308811528 I do another version of this ride returning along Trans Pennine Trail from Altringham

Nope mate, 2 good reasons why not. First one is i have no bike as mine has to go back to Cube for a replacement frame and 2nd it's my b/d today so i'm on the ale all day starting anytime now

I'm on call until 11.00am on Sunday so I can't get out with Chapel House this weekend but I've got next Sunday with them pencilled in.
Still getting out on Sunday with my brother in law law at 11.05am not sure where we are heading though
