Along Queens Rd in Cambridge the other week on my commute I had to pedal fairly hard to stay on the wheel of an early 20's lady in lycra obviously going out for a long ride. This next line is not meant in a pervy sense at all...
She was a joy to ride behind as it was really good to watch someone effortlessly and gracefully ride a bike so strongly.

I'd rather get Chicked than Dicked.

She must have been on my wheel for a good 5 miles and by this time I was shot. My legs had gone. The woman then peeled off, said thanks and was on her way. I then struggled for the rest of my ride just because I didn't want to get 'Chicked'...

She is a proper cyclist.. drafting behind!

Happened quite a few times nothing to be ashamed of.

I was on a forum ride last April with @Dr_Pink and a number of others of this parish. Towards the end of the 100 miles we all attempted a sprint finish up the last mile of the summit finish. Now Dr_Pink is a strong female rider and considerably lighter than most of us. It is fair to say we were all 'well chicked'.
You speak for yourself Steve, I set a pb up there that day (and still got nowhere near her)

Poor Totallyfixed must get 'chicked' every time he goes out

You both forgot to mention that she was also riding fixed gear . Seriously though the term "chicked" is hilarious, it is much more fun watching arrogant roadies being "chicked" by a slip of a woman on a pink fixed gear bike, some of the facial expressions are priceless.
I recall the expression "never judge a book............"

I don't like being overtaken by anyone. The problem is that as I'm not really that fast it often results in me killing my self for a few miles and then faking a mechanical breakdown

Am I the only one who tries to keep up with tractors? They can't be that fast, right??
I'd like to see you keep up with one of these:

I am quite partial to a bit of tractor drafting. Keeping up is no problem, the trick is being able to hook onto the back of it.

It's always an odd sensation freewheeling at 30mph with a good tractor tow.

You have to be careful in these parts as there are lots of squad riders. I did pass a lass in full squad kit last year, but I was attacking a Strava KOM mid ride, so was already in full flight before I saw the kit. She was probably out for a short 100 mile spin !

I'm always chicking male riders.:cycle:
It must bring great shame on their families, because I'm just a plump old biddy on a basketed up mountain bike, BUT, I've been riding the hills of sheffield long enough that my lovely soft, cushiony thighs are mean climbing machines under the padding!
