I'll start with Amber Rudd, "It definitely is worse if you're a woman, it's worst of all if you're a coloured woman."

Then there's Angela Smith, “It’s not just about being black or a funny…”

Am I missing something here?I hope this is a fun thread and not a one that'll turn into a political slanging match. Rudd and Abbott are both plonkers, but let's not go down that road. Anyway, going back to the thread title. I was born in 1960,so although a child of the 60's I only really remember things in detail from around 1969/70 0nwards.

I had the time of my life in the seventies, despite the fact that it was a miserable decade. Racist, homophobic, sexist and intolerant in many other ways too. Safety at work was non existent and many people are paying the price for that now after spending years breathing all sorts of crap into their lungs with no protection, despite the dangers being well understood by then. I engaged in dangerous work practices that would be unacceptable now as a matter of course, and I was expected to do so without complaint.

And apart from '76 it always seemed to be bloody raining.
