I used the roundabout last night and this morning. It wasn't so bad, you just need to be in the right lane.

Shepherd's Bush Green is a bit more hairy, as I come off Goldhawk road and need to go up Wood Lane past the BBC. Twice yesterday I was left hooked by people going down Uxbridge road, they weren't too close, but it was eye opening.
I took a strong primary this morning, and had no problems.

And what a lovely morning for a commute, once I had warmed up a bit.

Shepherds Bush Green is uniformly horrible, particularly during commuting times: too much going on, too many vans/lorries parked up in bus stops, and too many cars trying to claim 'their' bit of the road. As you say, strong primary is the answer, or else avoiding!

Eye contact when joining the 'flow' at Shepherds Bush is helpful - provided the drivers are not shaving, looking at their mobile screens, Metro or maps etc... - but not always possible. Hold your line and be very visible!
It's nice and clear these days though - school holidays and the station being closed:smile:
