Angel Delight was one of the other favourites. And that magic chocolate that you put on ice cream and went solid.
If you're having Angel Delight it's got to be butterscotch flavour.

Oh Gosh, I could eat that right now. Yuuuuummmmeeeee.
Me too; a good dumpling is hard to beat.
Sadly it seems to be another lost tradition; a birthday for youngsters now apparently involves a trip to TGI Fridays or some other dive. Bring back the clootie dumpling and house parties!!

We would be eating dumpling for days afterwards too; it is nice heated up with some sugar sprinkled over it.

We used chocolate digestives instead.
Never let detail get in the way of loads of sugery fat :hungry:

never been a fan of sweets/puds- yeah, yeah freaky I know.... but do remember party food consisting of salt and vinegar chipsticks, hula hoops (having the completion to see how many you can put on your fingers)cocktail sausages. and white bread sandwiches cut into triangles..

I wonder if you can still get those, I loved them.
