a friend of mine is having a baby after christmas and sent me and others a list of possible names along with the instruction to give honest feedback.

thought you lot might like a bit of fun with them too. the surname to match is anderson.

there are 14 options, i've left off the 4 most sensible ones as you can only have 10 in a poll.

    comments below please

Elliot Anderson - the only name which sounds good when spoken out loud. I have to say - if these names are really under serious consideration - the poor child might grow up to really hate his parents. I mean Cassius Anderson - ffs!

Especially if your friend is expecting a girl.

Seems an odd list of names...but what do I know?
I'd go with Elliot or Luke.

Hmm, all 10 seem to me to be open to ridicule and will encourage bullying in school, so I've gone for Cassius as it's a good boxer's name. (well, one boxer, ever).

I always think that you have to look at the first name in conjunction with the last one, the old Ben Dover, Hugh Jarse, Mike Hunt syndrome.
