Ironing ,hate it .But since i retired i do all the cleaning .Mind you i did it before i retired .

Just getting ready to go to bed, then you realise you need to put the bins out on the street. Not only that but you then realise you need to go round each room in the house and empty out all the bins in the house.

Having spent much of my previous marriage being a servent house husband I am more then able to cope with the chores in general.

I don't even mind cleaning the toilet or raking hair from the bath drain.

I think short quick chores are easier to cope with then monotonous long drawn out ones like cleaning and polishing windows.

Cutting the hedge.

A job I really detest. It's noisy (assuming you are using electric clippers), dirty, makes your arms and shoulders ache, seems to takes ages, awkward, and a so**ing pain to clear up all the clippings afterwards and..........it just keeps on growing ............ it never damn well stops !!

The only good thing about it is that it's only 2 or 3 times a year. That is still far too often though.

Easy peasy - just don't trim though the electric mains cable though. Apparently.

Ended up papering the spare room this week to get out of it. But that didn't go so well either. The gf came home to witness what was later refered to as 'a scene unfolding before her very eyes'
