It's almost as though the Jeremy Kyle show has landed on Earth.
Yup, no overheadsI didn't have my daughter christened. It wasn't because of ethical reasons, more the cost. 150 quid for 10 minutes work with no overheads!!! You can do one i thought!![]()
So you're an atheist - but you still care about the sanctity of marriage. Top trolling.
Do buy presents because Christmas is hard to escape from. Plus it doesn't matter about marriage etc.I am not relgious at all but I like churches. I attend weddings and christenings at churches. Its not about what I believe. Its about joining in a celebration with friends and family.
I wonder if the OP buys his family Christmas presents?
This has more to do with the brother in law than religion, I think.

No because like others on here I won't attend any christenings what so ever. Even if my favourite pro riders invited me I'd have to decline. So Christmas is OK because you buy presents.
Marriage is OK because you are married.
But christenings are not OK. But your child is not christened.
You can see how this looks?
I just let people do what they want to do and enjoy family gatherings. But this does appear to be more of a brother in law problem than a religious problem.
There's lots of them aboutNice Christian attitude that...

Practically nothing in the European celebration of Christmas has it's origins in Christianity. Atheists can totally take part.I wonder if the OP buys his family Christmas presents?
This is a good thing, I know a few muslims who exchange presents on the 25th of December.Practically nothing in the European celebration of Christmas has it's origins in Christianity. Atheists can totally take part.
Don't say that. It's all part of the war on Saturnalia. It will be Happy Holidays
