It's been rib of beef chez Cube for the last few years. Given the price of beef we tend to go for pork or brisket as a Sunday dinner and for me a decent rib is the best cut there is, so for Christmas dinner it's a real treat. We have had goose in the past, but it's massively expensive for not much meat, turkey is dull nonsense and you'd need about three ducks to feed our usual gathering. Mrs Cube wants to try the 3 bird roast thing, but again, game is pretty standard fare in season- I have three brace of partridge in the garage right now.
