All my christmas trees are fake and delightfully vintage. As are most of my decorations / baubles, btw. I find it's such a shame to grow a lovely tree, then cut it down for the sake of a couple of weeks before discarding it. Yes, I know, you can get rooted ones - I have a couple of norwegian spruces in my garden that got waaaay too big to bring indoors!

As for decorations, my newest bits are lights (LED of course, warm white by preference), and strings of silver and gold beads which I use on the tree in lieu of tinsel.

I don't use glass baubles, lametta or tinsel anymore, because none of them are cat safe.

I like the Spatz Squadron jersey. It has a cargo holder below the 3 usual pockets for extra storage. I can’t believe other brands have not copied their idea yet!

I bought me some Xmas jimjams yesterday. Yeah, I know, I know... But my old ones are knackered and mis-matched, and I figured it was time to upgrade. Really pushed the boat out, £9 spent at B&M.

Actually, they are very warm and surprisingly well made. The hot water bottle got wanged out of the bed halfway through the night LOL. Would recommend if anyone's looking for a pair of Christmas pyjamas that's not going to break the bank.

Had a and a Min Spy whilst listening to the football.

Decorations still firmly up in the loft, and will be staying there for a while yet.

I ran across a random Christmas pudding in one of the kitchen cupboards. Totally forgotten about it, thought they were all in the utility room. I am definitely NOT allowed to buy any Xmas puds this year, as I have a bit of a stash bought on clearance.

They *do* keep well for a fair while btw, just need reviving with some strong black tea and some falling down water.

Will this one make it to Christmas?
