Any of the Ealing comedies- many set in that London before it was ruined by the current occupiers!

Just watched Carry On Regardless.

Frankly, it was crap. It was nice to see the cast slightly younger than usual, but the comedy was just weak.

Sorry.

cracking film... ooh the suspense!
Quatermass & The Pit
...
the movie's in colour, the 6 part TV series is in B&W... and far superior to the fillum.

12Angry Men

good shout!

I'll add

This film starts out slowly (and a bit dull), then all of a sudden it kicks off big time... the way the tension builds at the end is great.
Highly recommended

I'm completely confused by this. Ealing didn't make the Carry On films.

And for the record, Ealing comedies are generally very good; Carry on movies, not so much.
I confused Pinewood Studios with Ealing Studios
