Classic mobiles?

My mate had a Nokia 5.1 (so envious).

It could communicate not just by voice, but also by sending words!!! Totes-amazeballs!

I had some house-brick of a Motorola that could receive texts, but not send them!

We couldn't believe how small it was.

I had a red one of those - I used to connect it via the infra red port to my Psion Revo and browse the web. It didn't matter that it was pitifully slow as the internet was almost empty anyway.

I had one of these, the famed Sony "Mars Bar" as my first mobile when they came out in 1993. It cost £325 and the rental was just over £30 a month plus calls.

It does look a bit battered compared to the one in the photo below. I'll see if I can take a picture of it........no wait it doesn't have a camera....... and even if it did how could it take a picture of itself

I had the phone from the Matrix films, I though i was so cool.
It had WAP !!!!!

Me too, and I wish I still had it.

It wasn't in the Matrix tho - that was the 8110 - but it was still a super cool phone

I still use a Nokia 6303, 5+ days battery life, makes calls, sends texts, fits in pocket, made from metal - what isn't to like

Ericsson: GA628, T10s, T18s, A1018s, R310s, R320s and my current handset an R250s Pro

I've got one somewhere. They are great. They make phone calls and texts and don't need charging up every day. Got a 3310 somewhere too.
