Clearance issues

Just got 35c tyres for my Suffolk after person in shop saying either 32c or 35c would fit. Unfortunately, put front one on and is tight to the mudguard.

Kind of want to take the mudguard off so it fits but that may be short sighted ...

Your only alternatives are to remove the mudguards or return the tyres to the original size.

no, i don't run guards and i don't die. then again my idea of a good and fun day is standing beneath 20 cows at a time and getting covered in cow shoot!

Return the 35's to the shop and get 32's. Simples. They gave you poor advice.

Did the op ask them what tyres would fit the bike or what tyres would fit under the guards though?

In that case then yes return them, what tyres are they CC2014?
Some makes come up bigger than others, I know Schwalbe's 35's are actually 37's in reality.

Rather than start another thread, doing a 50 mile charity cycle on Saturday, and fresh from a major 'bonk' on a 22 mile ride last night, I'm anxious that I fuel correctly.
