Well last night I re-greased the front wheel bearings. The axle was looking a bit worn where the bearings sit, so I've ordered a new one. Also spotted that there was only nine bearings one side, and ten the other, which is strange because I don't recall losing one the last time I serviced the wheel. Ordered another set of bearings (hope 3/16" is right?).
A process of elimination I feel, so we'll see how it goes on the next ride.
