clip-on mudguards

one of my bikes has geometry that makes it unsuitable for full 'guards.

what are folks' recommendations for clip-ons?

I use SKS raceblade longs on my Spesh Allez, they seem to keep me dry and aren't flimsy. I had Crud road racers previosuly, but didn't find them sturdy enough.

That said, I have fashioned a longer inner rear guard for this using part of a crud roadracer, to help keep the grime off the chain set.

Crud Roadracers been on my Secteur Elite for 3 years no problems.

I have Receblades on my Allez but never been quite happy with them - how do others fit, avoid rattle and grind on wheel?

Can you buy new clips, frames and ties for them?

Crud Roadracers.
Setup can be fiddly, and they do tend to snap if you are not careful (e.g loading into back of car), but they do work very well.
