The Clarion House round the back of Pendle - a nice evening ride.

Will be shut when you are there though I think.
But a nice ride (one of my gpxs goes past it I think) and it is a fine view from the garden - before you steel yourself for the climb back over Pendle.
You'll probably go through Downham (know to some for Whistle Down the Wind) - if passing through Downham, walk into the church - no matter if it's closed or you are an aheist. For turn round in the doorway and look out from the church porch.
The view is glorious.
