Speaking of greasy and salty, what's KFC all about?

A bucket of spiced and salted lard and random animal bones with a picture of George Michael on the side. Youd need a serious grudge against yourself to eat that.

My vegetarian Sister in Law worked in a KFC during Uni. If I told people the state of the place and the lack of hygiene they would never eat in one again 🤢

We went out for lunch on Monday to a cafe in Grosmont and ended taking with the owner who had been a chef in various restaurants and pubs in the area for years before setting up on his own. He told a tale of being offered a job in one pub/ restaurant but asked were the owners expecting him to work in the kitchen in its current state. When asked what he meant, he said he would be happy to work for the owners but he wouldn’t work in their kitchen till it had a deep clean.
They got it cleaned.

I like Costa coffee, but only when using the app and our own cups.

You get 2 beans (10 needed for free drinks) instead of 1 when using your own cup. If you're buying more than 1 drink make sure to put the orders through separately as it only gives double beans once per order.

I saw a video yesterday, about a bike packing shop in Manchester called "Keep Peddling". Very trendy, with price's to match. They were selling coffee in a tube, a bit like condensed milk in a tube."Interesting idea", I thought. I looked up what they cost on-line - £13 a tube. I'll stick with instance.
