I got some of these a while back. Initially had second thoughts when I fitted them but they grew on me .

I mainly stick to roads and because I ride with 700x23 wheels it will be a bike used for dry summer weather, I have my cyclocross for the rubbish conditions.

Both bikes will be cleaned from head to toe.

No matter how much you clean it it wont keep its original sparkling white colour but if you like it just change it when it gets too grey looking.

I have always used the white stripped ones, but they do look a bit scruffy after a while, i have just bought black ones, and that's what i will keep on it from know on.

End of the day they are only a tenner so if I have to replace them dont mind doing so. Thinking of red ones for my other cannondale
