True that. I didn't have my bike with me, by virtue of being on a romantic weekend with the gf, but we had a walk up part way. t'was certainly steep, though I'd question as to whether or not it was actually 33%.

Church hill it's called. If you go from the harbour along towards the castle, it's a right turn off that road. Here is the Google maps/Streetview.

Someone was actually brave enough to park on it... I know I certainly wouldn't have wanted to. You can see from the vertical lines of the house that I've still not quite managed to hold the phone level, but you get the general idea:

Cornwall is a nice place to live and cycle. You get used to the hills pretty quickly.
